Dog Food Questions...

I have been feeding Canidae for the past couple of months. Take in mind that Suri is 10 months old. The hair on her upper right thigh has been getting VERY thin and I am wondering if it's the food. When I feed her, I will give her dry Canidae kibble and a scoop of Innova Evo canned.

I talked with a couple holistique pet shops yesterday and they explained to me that Canidae is on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to organic dog foods. She said it contains grain which is not natural for dogs. I have noticed that Suri has had a lot of gas with Canidae. So I would like to switch foods...

She recommended that I try a better grade dog food such as Timberwolf, Innova, or maybe Orijen. I did some research yesterday and have narrowed it down to Orijen or Timberwolf. Orijen is very pricey...for a 30 lb bag fish flavor is $69.00. The lady who I am getting it from is the only dealer in NC that sells it. I am able to get Timberwolf 33 lb bag any flavor for $55.00.
Does anyone here in NC get it cheaper than this? Just curious..(I'm in Charlotte)
Please also add opinions about Innova Evo, because I do like that dog food as well!

So here is my question...What are the main differences between Timberwolf and Orijen? Is there a big difference in the quality of food? I would like to get opinion on both dog foods. My pocketbook would rather buy Timberwolf but nutrition is VERY important to me.

I am also looking at feeding some RAW every now and then. I've been looking at Steve's Real Food, Oma's Pride and also Primal. I can't feed RAW 24/7 because of the expense. But I would like to feed RAW a couple times weekly.

Thanks in advance. Opinions are welcome here!
