| Is the dog neutered already? If so, he will probably grow taller and not fill out as much. When neutered before they are done growing, the lack of testosterone delays the closing of the growth plates which results in a taller, but weedier dog. If the dog is neutered after he is done growing (anywhere from 12 to 18 months usually), you can expect a more filled out dog. |
